The tooth whitening maintenance program for Totally White Smile is the easiest program to follow. Once you have finished whitening your teeth and reached your TARGET SHADE then you will only have to do a tooth whitening "touch up" or "BOOST" your teeth according to the following protocol.
1. If you smoke, drink a lot of coffee or tea or Red Wine then your white teeth will stain and you will need to boost every 3-4 months.
2. If you only have a cup or two of coffee per day and an occasional glass of Red Wine and you do not chew tobacco or smoke, then your white teeth will stay relatively white. However there is some staining and you will only need to "BOOST" once every 6 months.
How to do a tooth whitening "touch up".
Regardless of which of the above you are , to touch up your beautiful white teeth you only need to wear your trays for 1 hour. Simply take your tooth Whitening Gel out of the Freezer and allow it to raise to room temperature , around 15 minutes. Find your whitening trays in your retainer case and place a small "Bead" of whitening gel, just like you did when you were actively whitening your teeth, around the inside of the tray. Place it in your mouth and wear it for 30 minutes. Then remove the whitneing tray from your mouth and place a second "Bead" in the trays and immediately place the tray back in your mouth. Then place your Whitening Gel back in the freezer and go to the calender and circle the next "BOOST" date so you won't forget. Remove your trays from your mouth in 30 minutes and rinse them out and place them back in the retainer case and put them up and away from children and pets. (PETS WILL EAT THEM). We recommend that you "BOOST" within 1 day of your cleaning appointment with your dental hygienist. He or she will remove all the surface level stain, calculus (Tartar) and polish your teeth. Then you can remove any accumulated stain that
may have occurred during the last 6 months.
